Clinical Research Mentoring

The ISCORE-RC aims to pair mentors and mentees based on shared backgrounds and interests. Mentors must be in good standing and approved by site Implementation Specialists.

Mentorship Training Program

ISCORE-RC CRCDP’s Mentoring Program is designed to assist seasoned clinical research professionals in earning a micro-credential in mentoring and to help support current certificate enrollees advance their careers.

The Clinical Research Coordinator Mentor Training Badge will provide recognition to senior clinical research professionals honoring their commitment to mentoring.

Micro-Credential Criteria

 

  • Complete 5/8 mentor training sessions from the topics below:

    • Introduction to Entering Mentoring

    • Maintaining Effective Communication

    • Aligning Expectations

    • Assessing Mentee Understanding

    • Fostering Independence

    • Promoting Professional Development

    • Cultivating Ethical Behavior

    • Developing a Mentoring Philosophy

  • Be active participants in the training experience (engaged in the discussions and activities)

  • Provide evaluation of the program, including key takeaways and strategies implemented based on the training
